Frances Cuff in Spice Cake
Autumnal reds and browns thread with antique gold beading, accented by a handmade resin cabochon filled with tea leaves and gold flakes set into a nest of golden feathers. Non-adjustable 8” length with hook clasp closure.
Named for Frances Barrett, famed English occultist, teacher, and author of the magic textbook The Magus.
Barrett translated works of other authors, such as Cornelius Agrippa and Robert Turner, books on Kabbala, and sought to teach the "hidden treasures of Nature."
Interestingly, Barrett did not believe that a witch's power came from Satan, rather that it was an innate skill or talent that came from within the person.
